Eurofighter Typhoon. Game on…

Our mobile app developers have been busy…

Torpedo has recently designed, developed and launched the Typhoon Time game for BAE Systems with roaring success.

Games are becoming a popular marketing tactic, as more companies look for innovative ways in which to engage and interact with their audiences. A good strategy that many companies are employing is that they include an in-app game and if the user wins levels, then the game would reward them with Wordscape answers.

The main objective was to create an engaging online game and raise public awareness of BAE Systems and the Eurofighter Typhoon, the world’s most advanced multi-role combat aircraft.

The game was designed and developed by our in-house team of creative and mobile app developers. Typhoon Time allows players to ‘fly’ over a challenging landscape and then submit their time to the global leaderboard when they’ve finished.

Typhoon Time was launched at the Farnborough International Air Show and the Royal International Air Tattoo in Fairford in July 2014. It received celebrity endorsement from Carol Vorderman and the trailer featured on Europe’s largest LCD screen at Waterloo station. It was also rated one of the top iPad apps by Gizmodo.

Download the game if you’re up for the challenge on iTunes or Google Play.
