We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Recruitment Administrator to join our talented and friendly team on a six month fixed term contract (with potential to extend or become permanent).

This is a part time role working approximately 20 hours per week, across a 5-day week (Monday to Friday). We are flexible about when the hours are worked during the working day and are open to discussions with candidates about this. 

This role would suit somebody who has worked in recruitment or in a busy administrative role. Training will be provided. 

The successful candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time as we are going through a period of growth. The main focus will be recruitment initially but there will be an opportunity to get involved in some HR administration and projects.

Role & responsibilities

  • Working closely with hiring managers to review role requirements and to identify the best platform for advertising vacancies.
  • Managing the administration of recruitment activities. For example, writing and publishing job adverts, monitoring recruitment spend, contacting candidates, arranging interviews, obtaining and providing feedback for candidates.
  • Use LinkedIn to directly source candidates.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure roles are published on social media platforms.
  • Be proactive in creating a pipeline of talent for business-critical roles.
  • Ensure that all candidates have a positive recruitment experience.
  • Produce employment contracts and all new starter documentation.
  • Provide assistance with the onboarding of new starters:
    1. Gathering personal details and right to work information
    2. Uploading the information to the HR database
    3. Keeping in contact with the new starter between offer and start date
    4. Support line managers in producing and organising induction documentation
  • Ensure that recruitment processes and procedures are legally compliant and best practice is followed.
  • Collate management information, as required.
  • Assist with adhoc HR projects, as required.
  • Keep up to date with UK employment legislation.

Skills & experience

  • Experience in dealing with sensitive information
  • A confident, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills
  • An organised approach with excellent attention to detail 
  • Personable, approachable and able to inspire confidence
