Together again

After nearly two and a half years of our monthly company meetings (All Hands) being hosted online via Microsoft Teams, the time had come to do it in person and get everyone together for a morning of team building and activities. And we even had some new branded hoodies to hand out!

But first, coffee!

Our first ‘Anchor Day’ started with a much-missed catch-up over breakfast (who doesn’t fancy a bacon roll or overnight oats to kick-off the day?!) Fuelled with caffeine, we then began our All Hands presented in person once again after over 2 years – with surprisingly less heckling than expected considering the lack of the ‘Mute All’ button!

Team work makes the dream work.

As we were all back together in one room, it seemed rude not to partake in a bit of Team Building. This was hosted by Blue Hat and took the shape of a collective task where individual teams had to work together using practical and analytical skills to solve two simultaneous challenges – luckily, we were successful (and two of our colleagues narrowly avoided being gunged as a result!).

‘Til we meet again…

Hybrid working is a great way to work (how would we all have managed for so long otherwise?), but you can’t beat the buzz of chatting and collaborating with colleagues face-to-face.

Team culture is at the heart of Torpedo and it was fantastic to get everyone back together, and also meet and greet the newest members of team. Same again next month everyone?
