Our nominated charity for 2025 is…

Every year we enjoy taking part in a variety of fundraising activities for a chosen charity, as nominated by our team. So, we’re very pleased to announce that this year, we will be supporting the pregnancy and baby charity, Tommy’s

As well as providing midwife-led advice and support for parents at all stages of pregnancy, Tommy’s is the largest UK charity researching the causes and prevention of pregnancy complications, miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. It was founded in 1992 when two obstetricians at St Thomas’ Hospital in London – Dr Ian Fergusson and Dr Anthony Kenney – couldn’t and wouldn’t accept the lack of answers surrounding premature birth any longer. Together with one of their patients, Lucy Nelson, they decided to start a campaign raising money for pregnancy research projects. The campaign grew into Tommy’s charity.

Making our first move

We’re sure you’ll agree what a worthy cause this is, so we’ve set-up our JustGiving page  and we’re kicking off our fundraising activities this month with Tommy’s 8k a day. As the name suggests, the aim of this sponsored challenge is to clock-up 8,000 steps a day by running, walking or jogging – and the team are already off to a great start!
