A walk in the (Jurassic) park for the next Torpedo challenge…

This weekend some of the team will be heading down to the Jurassic Coast to tick the next challenge off the Torpedo bucket list.

On Saturday 8th June, we will be taking part in the 2019 Jurassic Coast Challenge, this involves a mighty 34km walk along the spectacular southern coastline, through its landslides, cliffs and beaches. We will be starting at Corfe Castle, then moving across to Lulworth, past Durdle Door, with stunning view points and tough hills, onto Weymouth, where the finish-line awaits (and a well-deserved drink).

Iain, Joe, Alex, Steve, Lynsey, Adam, Paul, Aidan, Charlotte, Millie, Tianna, Adele, Zoe, Catherine, Raj, Alicia and Rosie will be raising money for two wonderful charities – Torpedo’s annual charity, Oxford Children’s Hospital and for this event, we are also fundraising for Alzheimer’s Society, who are the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia.

If you would like to support us on this gruelling challenge, and help us raise some money, the links to our Just Giving pages are below:
