This weekend, 13 members of our fantastic team took on the Chiltern Challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Starting just before midday, the 25km route took in a total 500 metres of ascent from Lewknor, through the Chiltern Hills, along the river Thames and finishing in Henley. Our team managed to complete the challenge in around 6 hours, with some of our most competitive members even having enough left in their legs for a sprint finish!
And whilst the 25km walk was tough, our Senior Designer, Adele, took it to another level and opted to run the full 50km looped route. Completing it in 6 hours and 6 minutes, Adele was the 5th woman out of 464 to cross the line – what an incredible achievement!
An amazing effort all round, and a remarkable £864 raised for BHF so far- definitely worth the aches and pains the next day! Well done Team Torpedo!
