This weekend some of our team braved the winds to take on 34km of walking along the iconic Dorset coastline and what a brilliant day it was.
Starting at Corfe Castle, we began our walk with big hills from the start. The beautiful scenery encouraged us along the way as we made our way along trails and pebbly beaches to Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups and downs all the way to the Weymouth seafront, where the finish-line greeted us with a well deserved medal, a glass of fizz, challenge t-shirt and plenty of hot food and cake!
Iain, Joe, Alex, Steve, Lynsey, Adam, Paul, Aidan, Charlotte, Millie, Tianna, Adele, Zoe, Catherine, Raj, Alicia and Rosie all took on the challenge and we’ve successfully raised lots of money for two wonderful charities – Torpedo’s annual charity, Oxford Children’s Hospital and for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored us so far, we really appreciate it. Our fundraising pages are still open, so if you would still like to support us and help these very worthy causes, please use our Just Giving links below.
