With National Cake Day just around the corner there’s only one thing for it… The Great Torpedo Charity Bake Off…. and this time, in aid of one of our nominated charities for the 2023; Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SOBS).

SOBS are an amazing charity who provide a safe and confidential environment for bereaved people. November includes International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day so we really wanted to come together at this time to support this very important cause.

From Lemon Drizzle to Christmas Cake, all sweet treats were covered with stand-out bakes including festive chocolate pinecones, mayonnaise brownies, Polish crumble and an Italian lemon custard tart! The judges Paul (Gareth) and Prue (Sonia) gave scores for ‘best bought bake’ ‘best looking bake’ ‘best tasting bake’. Congratulations to our winners: Rosie, Lucy and Sandra & Cristiano (joint winners).

In total the bake sale raised a whopping….

£577.76!
