OX5 RUN Success!

Torpedo team at the OX5 charity run

The Torpedo team laced up our running shoes on a gorgeous sunny Sunday morning for a 5-mile run in support of our chosen charity for 2024, the Oxford Children’s Hospital, part of the Oxford Hospitals Charity.

The OX5 RUN took place in the grounds of beautiful Blenheim Palace, where we enjoyed both the scenery and the camaraderie of hundreds of people who turned out to run, walk and support those taking part.

The five-mile course offered a great challenge to the 19 Torpedo participants, and a special mention goes to the 4 who ran the whole way, Adele, Marie, Cristiano, and David, whilst the rest of us strolled, chatted, and enjoyed the sunshine.

Incredibly, one of our intrepid gang ran TO the venue and then BACK again from Witney, taking her total for the day to 22 miles – hat’s off to you Adele!!

We’re super proud of everyone’s accomplishments and grateful to all those who got up on a Sunday morning to raise money for a fantastic cause, the total so far is £896 – but there’s still time to donate, please click the button below. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored us so far!
