The B2B Marketing Awards have been running for over 15 years and are one of the most sought-after awards in the B2B marketing world, so we’re feeling quite excited at the moment.
Our ‘Happy Holidays’ campaign for Autodesk has been shortlisted in the ‘Best use of direct mail’ category.
The winners will be announced in November – we’ll keep our fingers crossed until then!
About the campaign.
Autodesk wanted to engage C-Suite contacts within key UK manufacturing accounts. The objective was to instigate senior level conversations and expand the contact base by highlighting how Autodesk solutions help to maintain productivity and build resilient supply chains. They also wanted to raise awareness of the Autodesk brand within the accounts.
With such a targeted audience, a strategy of a personalised approach was taken, with direct mail being chosen for its ability to achieve cut-through and stand-out.
Personalisation ran throughout, including a QR code to a personalised video from the Sales Manager specifically for the recipient. The theme centred on collaborative working and retaining productivity while working from home and since these mailers needed to be sent during the holiday period, (hence Happy Holidays!) a seasonal theme was used.
The finishing touch was a custom made, personalised (delicious!) chocolate bar created using subtractive manufacturing technology, powered by Autodesk software. Each recipient was also given the opportunity to nominate their colleagues to receive their own version of the mailer.
