Torpedo’s Blenheim Palace Triathlon in aid of Oxford Children’s Hospital & Mind.

Here at Torpedo we’re always up for a challenge. This weekend we’ll be taking part in the Blenheim Triathlon either individually on Saturday, or in teams of three on Sunday.

Intrepid athletes Mark H, Adele and Paul B will be taking on the Sprint Challenge, which comprises a 750m swim, 19.8km bike ride and 5.4km run. But this year, we also have a lot of entrants for the team event, which features the same distances as the Sprint Challenge. Collaborative competitors Dasha, Leo, Alicia, Nass, Steve H, Maria, Aidan, Matt B, Dom, Rosie, Phil and Charlotte, will be aiming to complete one section each, in teams of three.

It’s not just the challenge we seek, we’re also hoping to raise some money for some causes close to our hearts.

We’ll be competing for Oxford Children’s Hospital, who offer children and their families vital support, healthcare and hope during difficult times. To find out more about the charity and why they are so valuable, visit their website here.

If you would like to support us and donate in aid of Oxford Children’s Hospital, please donate via our Just Giving page here.

We’ll also be looking to raise money for Mind. They help around 20,000 people with mental health challenges every year. Please see here for more information on what they do and their cause. If you would like to donate to Mind please donate here.

Every penny counts toward these wonderful causes, so please donate what you can and we’ll keep you updated with how we got on next week!
